Overlay solid timber flooring has been designed for individuals who want a timber floor but do not have the traditional bearers and joists sub floor designed for traditional tongue & groove flooring. Solid Timber Overlay flooring is 12/13 mm so it can be installed over concrete, old timber floors, particle board or plywood sub floor as long as it is clean, dry and level.

We recommend that the timber is acclimatised on site so that it can adjust to the conditions of the new environment. Following installation your new timber floor will be sanded and finished.

Timber comes in different grades:

Natural/Feature grade celebrates the distinctive markings that occur naturally in timber, like gum veins, insect trails and knots. Natural grade will produce a floor with natural character and rustic charm. The amount and type of natural features in your floor may vary according to the timber species selected.

Select/Classic grade is a grade of timber flooring which exhibits minimum natural features creating a sleek, contemporary, more formal look.
